The Gujarat Assembly polls will be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The counting of votes will begin on December 8. In the first phase, the ballot will be held for 89 seats while the second phase will see the vote for 93 seats. .
Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: As India’s Election Commission has announced the timetable for Gujarat Assembly elections in 2022, the stage is set for a triangular contest in the state between the ruling BJP, Congress and new entrant AAP. While the final results will be announced next month, a cross section of astrologers have said the BJP will retain power in its stronghold. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to register a landslide victory in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly election in 2022, a renowned astrologer Sachin Malhotra has predicted.
“While the performance of the AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal will be satisfactory, the Congress, despite its ‘Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan’, will be disappointed in Gujarat,” predicted the astrologer.
Opinion polls predict BJP victory
ABP-C Voter predicted massive victory for BJP. The saffron party is expected to get 45.4% of the vote, while Congress could get 29.1%, AAP- 20.2% and the others 5.4%. In terms of total seats, the BJP could win 135 seats out of a total of 182, while the Congress and the AAP are expected to get 35 and 11 respectively.
